Vivo has begun to tease the X90s, the fourth member of the X90 family. The Vivo X90s will include, among other things, the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 flash storage.
A Vivo official confirmed the existence of the Vivo X90s, the fourth member of the Vivo X90 series following the Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro Plus. For the time being, there is no word on a release date or availability outside of China. However, the CEO has disclosed the design of the X90s, with Vivo preserving the design language of existing X90 series phones.
As a result, the X90s has a spherical camera housing with four lenses. Vivo also continues to border the camera enclosure with ‘Xtreme Imagination’ branding, as well as a Zeiss logo, camera information, and an LED flash array. Vivo is also anticipated to sell the X90s with 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage. Vivo
sells 512 GB variants of other X90 series phones, so we wouldn’t be shocked if the X90s are the same.
Vivo is currently rumored to have distinguished the X90s from the X90 using a newer SoC. The X90s is expected to rely on the Dimensity 9200+, which MediaTek introduced last month, as shown in the screenshot below. In short, the Dimensity 9200+ features overclocked ARM Cortex-X3 and Cortex-A715 CPU cores, as well as various speed and efficiency improvements.
